I would like to thank everyone who attended the Memorial Ceremony/Hit the Road Party. Through the generous contributions from all the members, the club earned a total of $260.00 from the gifts that were donated for the Chinese Auction held that evening. Special thanks to Chaplain Jack Beebe who conducted the Memorial Ceremony.

This year's Banquet will be held on Sat., Dec. 6, 2008 at the Meadow Club on Rt. 112 in Port Jefferson Station. (Phone # 631-928-3800).

On a sad note, the club has lost two very important people this season. They are Second Vice President, Claudio Riccobono, and Lucinda Zorlenzan. Claudio and his family have always been very involved with all the club functions. Lucinda and her family have always been involved with all club functions as well. She always volunteered her time to do arts & crafts for our annual Christmas Party held at Ann Marie's House. They will both be missed by all.

Hope to see everyone at the meetings!

Sincerely,

Lynn Haar
